Tanjore style Reverse glass

Paintings on glasses have been practised and pursued since ages long gone.
Glass paintings in India have their own story of evolution through time and regions.
However, this particular form of glass paintings are more
widely practised towards the southern peninsula.
The Glass prints are known to be classic tanjore, with the traditional design, essentially containing a rounded body and face patterns.
This form of painting requires :

  • A well printed base design on glass or a fiber glass.
  • Stone Colors (Red, Green and White).
  • Gold dust and warnish.
  • Enamel Paint.
  • Ordinary Fabric, metallic and pearl metallic colors.
  • 3D glitters or liners based upon design requirments.
  • Oil colors.
  • Aluminium foil.
This form is solely dedicated to depict the elegance and beauty of Indian gods and goddesses.
The Gold jewellery effect from the gold dust and the Traditional gems are an add on feature and brings a good level of sophistication and authenticity.
